Rehanging the Cross
The brick repointing is completed. The Market Street Bridge is almost finished. The cross is newly refurbished. It is finally time to rehang the cross!
During the first week of November 2007, Lou DeSeau and Bud Doebler were able to rehang the cross on the south wall of the Parish House. The cross had been removed so that the wall could be repaired and repointed. Of course, the years had not been kind to the cross - so Bob Miller worked to refurbish and restore the cross. It will now brighten the day of the many drivers who cross the Market Street Bridge every day to enter the city from the south.
