Church Council Members Elected

The annual congregational assembly took place after the 10:30 A.M. service on Sunday, May 20, 2007. Five members were elected to church council. Nick Buckman, Robert Miller and Robert Jones were elected to their first, three year terms. Bud Hershberger and Jackie Kinney were elected to their second, three year terms. After the election of council members, the congregation received reports of the Pastor, council and the various committees.
Council President Hershberger recognized retiring council members Rick Robertson and Matt Fortin for their dedication and contributions to the council sessions. He also commended Phil Thomas for an excellent job as Chair of the Mutual Ministry Committee and to Frank Vognet for over 20 years of dedicated service as "Captain" of the ushers. Both of them are leaving those positions.
Council reorganized at its meeting on Monday, May 20. Bud Hershberger was reelected president, Nancy Larson was reelected to the position of secretary and Jackie Kinney was retained as treasurer. Gary Weber replaced Matt Fortin as Vice President.
