2.4.2007 - All the Languages of the Good News - 2007
On Sunday February 4th, St. Mark’s gave out the “All the Languages of the Good News” milestone to those children in kindergarten here at St. Mark’s. Taylor Wentzel, Sadie Wentzel, Annika Waffenschmidt, Kyseem Smith, and Lynna Robertson received the milestone.
Some of the children and their families enjoyed a tasty lunch in Fellowship Hall after Sunday services. Afterwards, Pastor Elkin helped the children discover the contents of their Milestone bags: an icon of Jesus as The Good Shepherd, a CD of Christian music and several books.
This milestone is a reminder that the St. Mark’s congregation is a huge part of the Passing the Faith ministry. The bags may be used as a tool for nurturing faith in the home.
