Independence Day 2006
On July 4, members of St. Mark's met on the front lawn of the church to celebrate our nation’s birthday, and the 200th birthday of Williamsport. We popped 16 lbs. of popcorn, and gave it to our neighbors who passed on the way to the grand fireworks display. No one who walked near the church volunteers left without food and drink.
Those who were looking for something musical were treated to a patriotic organ concert by Dick Lakey. Later, the fireworks display viewed from the front lawn was spectacular.
