The Lutheran Build for Habitat for Humanity

Lycoming County Lutheran Churches worked with Habitat for Humanity during the week of August 7-11, 2006 to assist with the building of four houses on Charles and Sheridan Streets in Williamsport.

St. Mark's sent a crew of ten to assist with this worthy effort on Tuesday of the week. The crew included students, retired folks and church members who took a day off to help out.

This day's tasks: insulation and wiring. Some of us learned new tricks, but we all worked hard, and nursed our aches at the end of the day.

Habitat for Humanity is a good cause - and St. Mark's members were pleased to participate in this great project.
