St. Mark's last updated its constitution in 2018. The congregation has not had working by-laws for a number of years. For this reason, a Constitutional Revision Committee was appointed by the Congregation Council, consisting of Gary Weber as chair, Candy Dewar, Pam Jensen, and Ralph Zeigler. The committee has been meeting for more than a year to study the existing document and propose necessary changes and needed updates, as well as to draft by-laws.
At its June meeting, Church Council voted to adopt the updated constitution and by-laws, and to recommend them to St. Mark’s members for their approval at a SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING scheduled for Sunday, June 24 immediately following the 9:30 a.m. worship service.
Copies of the proposed documents are available in the narthex or from the church office, or by clicking on the links below. An executive summary highlighting those changes also is available.
If you have any questions regarding this proposal, we ask that you please contact any member of the Constitutional Revision Committee prior to the meeting. Thank you!
