 Pastor Vasey and Bernadette Jones
Bernadette Jones Recognized for Her Service

Longtime St. Mark's employee and member Bernadette Jones was recognized on Sunday, August 15, 2021 for her years of service to the Church. She recently resigned from her position as Church secretary due to illness.

For many years, Bernadette served as the Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator. She taught the Confirmation age Sunday School class and headed the confirmation process. She developed and implemented a Milestone program, that recognized the milestones in the lives of our members. She was responsible for the production of our newsletter, the Lion. She was responsible for coordinating Vacation Bible School. She produced multiple stage productions in our Fellowship hall.

Most recently, she had served as the Church secretary and office manager. In that role, she prepared church documents for services and annual meetings. She was the face to the Church to visitors and members.

We will miss her in the Church office. Please pray for her recovery to full health.
