Three members of St. Mark's have been nominated to serve on the Congregational Council. Becky Miller-Pryor (who is currently in her first term), Pamela Jensen and Carl Albright have been nominated for terms beginning with the May Council meeting.
The election for Council members will take place on May 20, at the annual meeting of the Congregation. Assuming they are elected, these members will begin to serve the next day.
Becky is well known for her involvement with social ministry at St. Mark's, You will see her in action at the July 4 hospitality event, at the bazaar, and involved with numerous other Church ministries.
Carl is active with the property committee, and is frequently seen at the church performing maintenance and repair work around the facilities. Pam is chair of the publicity committee and also serves on the personnel committee of the congregation.
There remain two open seats on council that must be filled. Nominations for these seats will be taken from the floor on the day of the election.
