70+, SINGLE, AND STILL PRAISING GOD!
The Christian life is marked by milestones all along the way. We experience God’s grace in so many ways and are delighted to celebrate its appearance among us.
As we grow in years, our faith becomes stronger and more integral in our lives—not marked by a series of events, but a constant presence. It seems good to recognize that the milestones do not diminish with time or age, so that it is significant also to mark the years of life in Christ.
On August 7, we honored those have achieved a very special status ~ they have lived out the joys and sorrows of life for seventy years and more. Those who attended - Ruth Burkholder, Michael Ochs, Elsie Sechler, Gladys Knauss, Shirley Vognet, Ruth Ditchfield, Bob Miller, Janet Jones, Art Decker, Ruth Pile, Catherine Lundy, Shirley Hill, Roxy Larson and Ann Kuntz - enjoyed a meal and fellowship in Fellowship Hall. The youth of the church helped to serve dinner.
