Presenting the Affirmers

Recognizing those entering the Way

On Sunday, December 6, 2015 we gathered to greet and encourage persons who will affirm their baptism through The Way or catechetical study. Each of the affirmers is sponsored by a member of St. Mark's, who has already gone through the Way. The sponsors introduced the affirmers:

The Way, was developed at St. Mark’s to facilitate the process of faith forming for adults. The process in which the basic disciplines of the Christian faith, worship, prayer, scripture study, and ministry in daily life, are studied, discussed, understood, and used.

Throughout the year the group will share thoughts and ideas leading to the reaffirmation of our baptism in Christ., to experience a spiritual growth in the community of the church as well as within themselves.
