The Congregation Council is in the process of putting together a plan for improving our Church. The Council just received goal suggestions from church members and committees – and they are great! We really appreciate the thought and energy behind your suggestions. So much so, that we want even more ideas from children, parents, grandparents, adults, family members, friends and anyone who can help St. Marks best complete our mission:
“To know Christ and make Christ known”
We don’t want to miss anyone’s suggestion for improvement from a wide variety of parishioners, so we can begin planning goal implementation for the next 2 years.
Here are some examples:
In what way can St. Marks help our members?
How can we more effectively exemplify and communicate the Word inside and outside of our church?
What else can we do to meet our community’s needs?
What else can we do to meet your needs?
Since the membership of St. Marks is decreasing, are there better ways to attract new members and meet their needs?
These are just a few questions to get the thought-process going.
***Your involvement is appreciated and needed if St. Marks Lutheran Church is to flourish***
Please take this opportunity to SHARE your ideas about GOALS that can help St. Marks Lutheran Church to reach our MISSION:
“To know Christ and make Christ known”
My goal idea is: _________________________________________________________________

Here is how to make this happen: _________________________________________________________________

Who should the church council contact about additional information about this goal suggestion? _____________________________ Phone #:__________
The council greatly appreciates your assistance now, and in the future. Feel free to attach more sheets. You may mail this back to church council, give it to a church committee member, or simply drop it in the Sunday collection plate by the end of September. Rest assured that Gregg Dancho, or a council member will update you on your goal status.
