New boiler purchase approved; council members Kolb, Weber, Comerford & Pryer elected
On Sunday, May 17, 2015, St. Mark’s congregational assembly took place after the 10:30 service. The meeting was conducted by Council President Ray Huff.
The first order of business was to elect members of the Congregation Council. The nominating committee nominated Lou Kolb and Shelby Weber for second terms. Audrey Comerford and Becky Miller Pryor were nominated for initial terms. No additional nominations were submitted and the candidates were elected unanimously.
The annual reports were accepted.
The Council moved to approve the expenditure of $58,550 for the bid of Billtown Mechanical for boiler replacement, with funds to come from our investments and contributions from the congregation, with the work to be done the summer of 2015. The boilers are over 50 years old and have reached the end of their useful life. The proposal was approved.
The meeting was then adjourned.
