In August, St. Mark's recognized and blessed those of its members heading out to college. The four:
With these words, our young members were sent forth into the college world:
How many ways have we been blessed by God in each other's company at home and in this assembly? These blessings do not end, but they certainly do change as our lives unfold day by day. We will ask God to continue to bless us all as we move through these transitions, to remain faithful, and bound together in the one communion of the Body of Christ. To assist with vital communication, the congregation presents to you this address book, embossed with your name and a sign of this Christian community. There are several entries already within it, email addresses for the Pastor and other adult contacts with Sunday School leaders Bob and Lou. May you find it to be a useful and helpful tool of communication.
Afterwards, the college bound students and their families were greeted with a reception in the courtyard.
