St. Mark's Lions Basketball

St. Mark’s John Bower Basketball League Lions ended another successful season. The occasion was celebrated with an awards party in fellowship hall, on March 10. Approximately 75 players, siblings and parents attended.

Pizza was served. The players each received their medals and also a wooden lion ornament made and donated by John & Ruth Burkholder.

A hearty "THANK YOU!" to our 2012 coaches: Rick Robertson, Kirk Owen, and Mike Jensen. This was Rick's last year to coach and we would like to thank him for his years of time and dedication to our youth.

Here are the team members:

Devin Owen, one of our high school students, played for the senior team of St. Joseph the Worker and did a fantastic job of representing our church.

We are very proud of our St. Mark's Lions! St. Mark's fielded 3 teams this year and is looking forward to having the same fun and success next year.
