Women & Children Dinner

About 60 women and children, attended our Annual Women’s Dinner on Wednesday, May 9. The evening began with a meal prepared for us by our own men here at St. Mark’s, under the supervision of Bob Jones. The meal included applesauce, filled chicken breast, corn, mashed potatoes, roll, with strawberry shortcake. It was delicious and wonderfully served by our youth (Declan, Stephen, Riley, Jerod and Evan). Thanks and kudos to all our men!!
Entertainment was provided this year by Williamsport Area High School’s own GQ, the men’s acapella
vocal ensemble, under the direction of Kent Weaver. They provided a very enjoyable program with songs
ranging in style from toe-tapping to solemn to humorous to finger snapping.
Door prizes of spring plaques were given to those with specially marked chairs (that was entertaining in and of itself!)!
Special thanks to Jungwha for accompanying our closing hymn, “Let Heaven Rejoice.”
