Anniversary Milestone Celebration

▪Harold & Joyce Hershberger ~ 50 years▪
▪Carl & Beverly Hieber ~ 50 years▪
This milestone was celebrated on Sunday, May 6, 2012. Fourteen attended
and enjoyed a meal of homemade applesauce, flank steak pinwheels, almond crusted
potato croquettes, French cut green beans with water chestnuts, and raspberry anniversary
cake with a raspberry mousse pie for dessert.
Gifts of framed anniversary trees, certificates announcing memorial plantings in the courtyard
and crosses made by John and Ruth Burkholder were presented after the meal.
Also, a tree will be planted on the Church grounds in honor of the
couples.
Bibles for the pews in the nave were donated by family members in honor of the couples.
Congratulations and thanks go to these couples for setting a beautiful example for all of us.
