Milestone

On Sunday, May 23, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church celebrated the couples in our congregation who have been married for 51 and 52 years with a Wedding Anniversary Milestone. The couples were recognized during the 10:30 service and greeted by the congregation.
After the service, dinner was served for the couples and their visiting family members with help from some of the youth of St. Mark’s. Dinner featured a special preparation of pork with pear and ginger.
The Milestone
has been memorialized with a hand crafted tree certificate bearing the names of the couples.
In addition, several trees will be planted in the church courtyard
in honor of the couples.
The following couples were honored:
- Charles & Judith Fortin - 52 years
- Raymond & Mary Ann Stiller - 51 years
- Leonard & Ruth Sherlinski - 51 years
