June 2011 brought another successful Vacation Bible School at St. Mark's. This year the kids set out on an adventure with Pandas. As the kids explored a bamboo forest filled with crazy pandas, they discovered that God loves us. Kids participated in memorable Bible-learning activities, sang catchy songs, played teamwork-building games, dug into yummy treats and experienced electrifying Bible adventures.
Bible Memory Buddies, Boomer, Fez, Amanda, Lulu and Pogo, reminded them of God’s wild love. They created Bible Point crafts to take home and play with all summer long. Plus, God Sightings prompted children to look for evidence of God all around them. Each day concluded with a Rowdy Wrap-Up—a celebration that got everyone involved in living what they learned.
The week ended with a celebration in song, with snacks for all. Parents, helpers and kids joined in to bring this busy week to a close. VBS sure is fun!
