Women & Children's Dinner
The 2008 Women & Children's Banquet
was held on May 8 in Fellowship Hall. As always, the men of the church
served the meal and cleaned up.
This year, moms could bring their young sons (as there seem to be a goodly number of young men about, these days) and daughters of all ages were welcome.
Entertainment was provided by Kate and her "non-breathing" friends. She is an expert ventriloquist who entertained with wit and wisdom. Scooter and Ophelia were the featured puppets for the evening, and the program was dedicated to the Lord.
