ANNUAL WINTER 6TH-8TH GRADE RETREAT AT
CAMP MOUNT LUTHER
Sara Jones, Christina Comini and Stephen Boone attended this annual retreat on February 1 & 2, along with Sharon, Bernadette and Bob. They met a lot of new friends, got really cold, got really warm (especially the top bunk), and participated in several small groups and worship services. The theme of the weekend was Baptism: Dead to sin/New Life in Christ.
Sessions were held on finding Baptism themes in media,
making of soap, vocation and
several small group discussions.
The bonfire on Friday night was cancelled due to rain and ice, but after the evening service, we all met in Maple Lodge for snacks and fellowship until bedtime. In addition to the evening service, there was a service Saturday morning, a lot of singing, and a final service with Communion before we left.
